| Remarks | Consumerism, having generated the out of town shopping complex, now generates the in town entertainment complex. Brindley Place is one of the focal points of regeneration in Birmingham, a haven for the drinker, party animal and short trek tourist. It is a strange mix of toytown and modern abyss, best not visited on a Friday night unless you are under 27. I think it requires celebration and this painting is a quick homage. |
