| Remarks | A painting that just developed toward being some urban water edge with wharf buildings. The copper in the title simply referred to a coppery tinge (perhaps a little difficult to see here) in the painting. It reminded me of an old, large, charcoal drawing of the Thames that was in the corridor of my parent's house, just before you went out into the street. Foolishly in my artier youth I wrecked the drawing in search of a frame...no respect. |
