Remarks	Not a great painting but I put a 1950/60s design motif in the top right hand corner and its anomolous presence is enough to keep me interested.  Using 'quirks' in pictures is now part of my strategic repertoire.  It is like the intrusion of another dimension and is meant to produce an imbalance or discord, a kind of out-of-step quality.  A feeling that something shouldn't be there.  The problem of course is when it really shouldn't...and then it just looks rubbish.
