Jill Baron Exhibition

Jill Baron is one of the few remaining British Constructivists.  She has retained a persistent and convincing approach across a range of media for over twenty years.  Whilst the Constructivist movement in the UK underwent various political and ideological throes in the Seventies and Eighties and seemed to dissipate, Jill always sustained a strong  aesthetic approach within her working practice which is based on Constructivist principles.  The resultant work now coincides with the resurgence of interest in minimalism, particularly new minimalist aesthetics.
