Acrylics  Acrylics are the slowest medium I'd care to work with, they are probably the nearest I will ever get to using oil paints and I tend to use them in a painterly manner. For some reason I find composition using acrylics is a slow drawn out process. Perhaps unlike the computer prints and watercolours the acrylics just sit there inviting me to make them better, the ability to delete or reconstruct also leaves complex residues in the final image. For all of these reasons (which mostly seem about reflection) I think my acrylics tend to move toward moods rather than expressions.
